Mixed Media Paintings
I find fascination in translating photos of women, nature, and fish into diagrammatic layers of paint, tissue paper and crayons. Many of the patterns from my ceramics are used in my paintings. I use a combination of acrylic paint, tissue paper, paper, and water-soluble crayons to create each painting on stretched canvas.
